The swimming pool is made of rigid material, has a minimum height of 1.22 m (4 feet) measure from effective ground level at all points on the perimeter of such wall.

The swimming pool has a secured entry in the form of a lockable ladder, removable steps, fence or gate that comply with all other requirements of the By-law

The swimming pool walls are at least 1.22 metres (4 feet) from other objects, including but not limited to, trees and swimming pool equipment, such as heater and filter, and free from angled side supports, which could provide access to the swimming pool.

1. Complying with County of Brant Comprehensive Zoning By-law.
2. Completing locates for all utilities on the property.
3. Ensuring construction of the swimming pool enclosure occurs when the swimming pool is completely empty and not filled with water.
4. Ensuring that no portion of the swimming pool enclosure encroaches upon County of Brant property or neighbouring properties.
5. Applying for and receiving a building permit (pool shed, deck or other structure is proposed), park access permission and/or public works permit if required.
6. Ensuring that perimeter grades are not altered, that the construction will not impact the drainage on adjacent properties, remedying any future drainage concerns resulting from this construction.
