Building Inspection Request

It is the homeowner's and contractor's responsibility to contact the County of Brant to book an inspection. Failure to have inspections may result in uncovering and exposing work for inspection.

Building inspections must be booked with a minimum of 24 hours notice and prior to 3:00 pm to receive an inspection for the following business day (subject to availability). Any inspections booked after 3:00 pm will be booked for the second following business day. Please note that we do not perform inspections on weekends or statutory holidays, please plan your request accordingly.

Please note outstanding development charges for new residential units are required to be paid prior to occupancy. Occupancy/Final Inspections will not be scheduled if Development Charges remain unpaid.
